Graff joins team

Seasoned cyber security advisor and founder of World Federation of Exchanges Group on Cyber Security is latest cyber expert to join RSC team.

April 15, 2015 WASHINGTON, D.C. – Mark G. Graff, CEO and Founder of Tellagraff and a cyber-security practitioner for more than 25 years, is partnering with Ridge-Schmidt Cyber to provide expert advice and counsel to Ridge-Schmidt Cyber clients. Founded by Tom Ridge, first U.S. Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security and 43rd Governor of Pennsylvania, and Howard A. Schmidt, former Cyber Advisor to Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, Ridge-Schmidt Cyber advises corporate and government leaders on developing and leading cyber-resilient organizations.

Graff is a seasoned cyber-security advisor having most recently served as Chief Information Security Officer for NASDAQ and Information Security Officer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. While at NASDAQ, Graff founded and chaired for the World Federation of Exchanges the first international organization of executives responsible for the cyber safety of the world’s stock exchanges. He was named Internet Security Executive of the Year for the Northeast United States in 2014.

“The addition of Mark Graff enhances our strength in the financial, government and international sectors,” said Gov. Ridge. “As CISO for Nasdaq, his liaison to the financial community on cyber is a critical component. Graff is highly respected and uniquely qualified to advise executives on cyber defense strategy, management of multi-national cyber regulatory frameworks and best practices for public-private sector collaboration for IT resilience. This alliance with Mark Graff provides our clients with still more unparalleled access to world-class advisors. I am delighted to welcome Mark to our team.”

Earlier this year, Ridge-Schmidt Cyber announced the arrival of former UK Security Minister Baroness Pauline Neville-Jones to the RSC team. Baroness Neville-Jones will provide cyber expertise to clients in the UK and across the European Union.

“This strategic relationship will enable government leaders and senior executives at public and private organizations to benefit from our collective experience and cyber capabilities,” said Graff. “Working together, around the world, we can help clients to better understand, adapt and respond to enterprise risks and complex cyber challenges that are a reality in today’s business environment. I look forward to working with the team at Ridge-Schmidt Cyber.”

“Global organizations need a smart, comprehensive perspective to meet both the technical and enterprise complexities of the digital age,” added Howard Schmidt. “Mark’s experience as a world-renowned information and cyber security expert will expand our offerings and ensure our clients receive the highest level of cyber-security understanding. Tom and I are thrilled that Mark’s expertise will be leveraged on behalf of our clients.”
