“Is the US Ready for a Biological Catastrophe?” – Gov. Tom Ridge on MSNBC Morning Joe

December 19, 2016 – As a follow up to his recent joint op-ed in Time Magazine with Senator Joseph Lieberman, Gov. Tom Ridge joined Morning Joe on MSNBC to discuss the ongoing threat from bioterrorism and what the United States needs to do to protect itself.

Gov. Ridge, along with Sen. Lieberman, is a co-chair of the Blue Ribbon Study Panel on Biodefense. The Panel has released multiple reports and provided Congressional testimony to provide concrete steps the US government can take to be better prepared from a serious attack.
